Luisa Weiss is the daughter of a mathematician from Boston and an interpreter from Rome. She has always been fascinated with cooking. Her parents porce when she is a child, and she is bounced back and forth from her father’s apartment in Boston to her mother’s home in Berlin. As an adult she settles in New York, but she doesn’t feel at home and wonders if she is brave enough to take a leap of faith.
She cooks meals from Italy, Berlin and New England, trying to decide, and she includes delicious sounding recipes. This is a charming book. You’ll want to read it to see if Luisa decides to trust her heart.
