The Concord Young Professionals Network will present a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration and costume party on Nov. 2 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Centennial Hotel, 96 Pleasant St. The event is generously hosted and sponsored by The Centennial Hotel and co-sponsored by Checkmate Payroll Services and Southern New Hampshire University.
Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated around the world to honor and remember friends and family members who have passed away. Join CYPN as we put a fun twist on the holiday and celebrate with delicious food, dancing, photo booth, costumes and prizes in the elegant, antique ambiance of The Centennial Hotel.
In-kind donations include decorations by KAGEM Chic Designs, makeup by Beauty by Design salon, and a photo booth provided by photographer Chris Saunders. Music is provided by DJ Tim Allen. Prizes for best costumes will be awarded, and prizes include a unique piece of pottery by Boyan Pottery, a romantic dinner for two by Forever Feasting, a portable soft cooler and a tailgating chair donated by New Hampshire Distributors and a $50 gift certificate to Zöe and Co. Professional Bra Fitters.
