Concord Community TV (ConcordTV) is looking for teams to participate in its first annual Video Scavenger Hunt Sept. 22, starting at 4 p.m., with team training and the scavenger hunt from 4:30 to 6 p.m. before a video screening party with prizes at 6:30 p.m. (location to be announced).
The video scavenger hunt promises to be an evening of fun, mischief and shenanigans, with teams of five running around Main Street during a limited amount of time, capturing as many antics as possible on five minutes of video. No prior knowledge or experience is required. However, you must have a sense of humor! Bonus points for absurdity. Participants must be ready to experience: Costumes, video cameras, impersonations, human pyramids, zombie attacks, and more.
Businesses and organizations are encouraged to sponsor their own teams, or inpiduals can gather a group of their craziest friends or family for an evening they won't soon forget.
“This will be the craziest fun you'll ever have running around downtown, we promise,” Doris
Ballard, ConcordTV's executive director, said.
Entry fee for a team is $150. Proceeds benefit ConcordTV, Concord's local non-profit public access station. To register a team, or for more information, call Doris Ballard at 226-8872, or email at doris@yourconcordtv.org.
First team to sign up gets a free banana split each from Ballard's Ice Cream.
