While we were out on our yard sale hunt, we happened upon another sure sign of summer – a lemonade stand, manned by 10-year-old Jamie Huffman. We stopped by, had a delicious cup of lemonade and asked him a few questions about his business.
What gave you the idea to set up a lemonade stand?
I always read these books called “The Lemonade War” series, and it makes me want to do this.
How long have you been selling lemonade?
For a while – since last summer.
How often do you set up your stand?
I do it a lot on the weekends or when we have yard sales.
What kind of lemonade do you use?
Country Time – I've tried other kinds, but this is the best.
Are you planning on selling lemonade for your career when you get older?
No, I want to be a major league baseball player. Actually, I play three sports, so I want to be in the MLB, MLS or NBA.
