Race for charity

Join your friends and neighbors for the Inaugural New Hampshire Ironheart Classic 5K. The event is presented by Cornerstone Periodontics and Implants, Jeremy's Bootcamp and Keller Williams Realty and will take place on May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at Rollins Park. The cost is $25 in advance and $30 for day-of registration and includes a free T-shirt.

Following the race, there will be a festival with expo and community demonstrations (i.e. karate school demonstrations, bike and helmet safety check, etc.) including awards from 10 a.m. to noon. Gov. John Lynch and First Lady Dr. Susan Lynch will be there to help kick off the festivities.

The event is organized by New Hampshire Ironheart Events, a subsidiary of Ironheart Racing Group – a group of everyday athletes on a mission competing in endurance races across the globe while raising awareness for healthy heart living and congenital heart disease. A portion of the proceeds from the Ironheart Classic 5K will benefit the designated charities that the Ironheart supports. For more information, call 721-2830 or visit livelifetothefittest.com.
