Different sizes are used for different styles (i.e. “fat caps”).<br /><br /><strong>Crew</strong>: Graffiti artists who work together.<br /><br /><strong>Getting up</strong>: To gain a reputation for one’s work.<br /><br /><strong>Paste-up</strong>: A drawing or stencil fixed to a wall.<br /><br /><strong>Rolling</strong>: A piece stays up before being painted over. (“It’s still rolling.”)<br /><br /><strong>Tag</strong>: An artist’s signature, usually a one-color scribble.<br /><br /><strong>Toy</strong>: Someone who crudely paints over an existing piece.<br /><br /><strong>Writer</strong>: A graffiti artist.
