Scavenber Suggestions
The last scavenger hunt was indeed interesting but it had difficulties as a scavenger hunt. Scavenger hunts are best when they can be walked in a finite area. If a car is needed, the hunt still needs bounds. Driving all over Concord is too wide a field. This one presented another problem in that two of the items are very difficult for a lone driver to see if paying attention to the road. The steam vent is surprisingly difficult to see, and the small CHS statue is very difficult to see unless one is on the side road. I found the steam vent through technique learned at the International Spy Museum and I still had trouble seeing it as a lone driver even though I knew its location within 50 yards.
Missing the B & C
I miss Ball & Chain and Missed Connections. Always fun to read. Where are they? Missed Connections reminds me of “Blue and White” in the Normal Heights blog for the San Diego area. Keep up the good work reporting on community focused items.
