‘The Insider’ has some homework for you

1. We figured we’d blast off with an easy one. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to find this item. And yes, the clues will (probably) get harder.

2. Feel free to move slowly to this guy. Even if a hare were somehow involved, we don’t think he’s going anywhere.

3. Come on, Concord, why didn’t anyone nominate this lovely lady for our Hunkettes issue?

4. This sculpture speaks for itself. Now speak to us and tell us where it’s located.

5. A fitting sculpture for the season, no? Don’t let your enthusiasm take you too close, though – it gets hot up there!

6. I know what this is! It’s a windy rock thinger with a rectangularish hole in the middle! Oops, did we give the answer away?

What a coincidence, we have an exact replica of this item at The Insider office. You have to find the original, though.

8. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Or, in this case, there’s a smokestack. So where’s the smokestack? We’re not telling.

The New Year has arrived and school vacation is over – time for you to get back to work.

With that in mind, The Insider cooked up another of our ingenious and wildly enthralling scavenger hunts. The theme? You have to hunt that down, too.

Kidding! We first thought it would be fun to do a brick scavenger hunt, but realized the chances of someone correctly identifying 10 specific bricks in downtown Concord were pretty slim. (Don't let us stop you if you want to try, though.)

We also pondered a “get to know your neighbors” scavenger hunt, but were discouraged from sending citizens into random houses unannounced. Something about “breaking and entering” or some legalese like that.

So we settled on sculptures, or at the very least sculpture-esque items. Below are eight examples of art displayed around Concord. Whoever can correctly identify the most locations wins a $20 gift certificate to the Concord business of their choice.
