I was thrilled to read the section in The Concord Insider on Holiday Traditions. What a nice thing to learn about other parts of the world and how they celebrate the holiday season.
We have new additions to our community every day and they will add to the already existing colors in our neighborhoods. Our children and grandchildren play with and attend school with the children in these new families.
Me, I went to school with almost all white and protestant kids. I loved them all dearly, but how exciting to be exposed to different cultures at a young age.
One side note, I wish church on Christmas Day would return to us as a holiday tradition.
