Help rock the walls of the Sweeney Hall Auditorium at NHTI – Concord's Community College on Oct. 22 by attending the “Mamma Mia!” movie sing-along fundraiser!
The evening will be complete with a costume contest, raffle prize and a buffet of Greek refreshments between a 3 p.m. matinee and 7 p.m. evening showing. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Dress up as one of your favorite “Mamma Mia!” movie characters, a movie prop, something from a scene – use your imagination! There will be prizes for the “most original” and “best costume” at each show.
The proceeds will benefit Zonta's memorial scholarships at NHTI which is awarded to non-traditional female students.
As part of the celebration, a Greek-themed basket of products and gift certificates (a $200-plus value) will be raffled. The basket includes gift certificate donations from South Street Market, The Red Blazer and Veano's along with a movie DVD, cookbook, calendar, jewelry and much more.
Space is limited! For a recommended donation of $12, you can purchase a ticket for either show; the buffet of Greek refreshments is $15; and a raffle basket ticket is $5 or 3 for $12.
