The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Creative Concord Committee, in partnership with downtown merchants and the Concord City Council, announces that sidewalk performers (or “buskers”) who wish to share their talents are invited to sign up to perform at one of four locations in downtown Concord.
The four approved downtown locations for performers are:
The sidewalk at the opening to Eagle Square, by the clock tower.
The brick alcove on North Main Street next to Merrimack County Savings Bank.
The plaza between Gibson's, O Restaurant and Red River Theatres.
The northwest corner of Main and Pleasant streets.
Performers are permitted to play from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
To ensure that others have an opportunity to perform, performers may play in one location for two hours at a time. Performers must sign up for locations and times. Sign-up sheets and guidelines are available at Strings and Things, 113 S. Main St.
More information about performance guidelines is available on the chamber's website at concordnhchamber.com/data/uploads/buskers_guidelines.pdf.
