Nabil Migalli, a native of Egypt, will discuss “Egypt Today” in a brown bag luncheon sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute on July 21 at the Wesley Methodist Church on Clinton Street from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Part of the day will include the showing of the film “The Yacoubian Building,” which is based on a novel of the same name by Alan Al Asway and is the highest-budgeted film in the history of Egyptian cinema. The fee for this event is $5. Those attending should bring a brown bag sandwich, but snacks, desserts and beverage will be provided.
Migalli's dialogue will focus on the dynamic roles of religion and politics in Egypt today. He is a graduate of the Cairo University/Cairo School of Social Work and the Institute of National Planning in Cairo.
