The sixth annual Concord Multicultural Festival took place last weekend in the State House Plaza. The event showcased music, crafts and food from the eclectic melting pot of cultures that make up the people of Concord.
Bhutanese dancers, Native American drummers, Sudanese jewelry and good old-fashioned New Hampshire fudge were just some of the many ethnically perse entertainment options on display.
Karate kids broke boards with vicious chops, children got their faces painted and, most important, people came together to celebrate their shared inpiduality. After all, isn't that what being a Concordian is all about?
