Avid Insider readers will remember that last year we sent you on a scavenger hunt through Concord's city parks, spotting various items of interest and reporting back to us. Well, we're doing it again.
This time, we took a walk down Loudon Road. Sure, we've been there before. Usually, we're in heavy traffic, staring at the bumper stickers on the car in front of us. “Envision Whirled Peas,” indeed. But when you start slapping leather on the sidewalk, you get to see a whole 'nother side of Loudon Road.
Originally, our plan was stop at every fast-food restaraunt on our way and sample their fare. Then we realized that bikini season was coming up, so we decided to just walk down the road taking pictures of interesting sights.
Of course, what fun is a scavenger hunt without a prize? The answer: still fun! Luckily, though, we've thought ahead. Whoever can correctly identify the most locations in the following 10 pictures will win a $15 gift certificate to the Loudon Road business of their choice. Pretty sweet deal, right?
In event of a tie, the winner will be determined by attractiveness. Sorry, folks, the world is a meritocracy based on looks; might as well come to grips with it now.
