Hello there, and thanks for picking up the Insider's Guide to Spring in New Hampshire. We want to provide a little respite from that severe case of cabin fever you've likely been nursing for the past four dreary months, and we're here to get you excited for all the fun that spring in the Granite State has to offer.
In this guide, you'll find a grab bag of activities, events and suggestions to make the most out of the next few months. Whether you're into making maple sugar (or just eating it), hiking around in the woods, or shopping for artsy items at craft fairs, these pages contain something for you. We've got information about The Thing in the Spring, an alternative music and arts festival in downtown Peterborough, a visitor's guide to the quaint North Country town of Littleton, and plenty more.
This issue also contains plenty of regular Insider features that we think makes our publication special. If you're not familiar with us, here's a brief introduction: The Concord Insider is a free weekly publication that's been put out by the Concord Monitor since 2006. Our goal is to spotlight all the cool things going on in the capital city, from business profiles, to food and music reviews, to fun events happening. You can pick up a copy of the paper in downtown restaurants, shops, and red boxes throughout the city. You can also read the publication online at theconcordinsider.com, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
We hope you find our guide to spring helpful and informative. In the back of the issue, you'll find a list of events happening across the state this spring; if we missed your event, please e-mail the details to news@theconcordinsider.com. We'll run your event in the next issue, and update our online listing with what you send us.
With that, we'll leave you to enjoy the guide, and the beginning of spring. We'll cross our fingers that more snow holds off until next December.
