Seniors, gear up for a week chock-full of free activities. WISE, which stands for “week of interactive senior experiences” will take place May10-14. We pulled together some highlights, but there's a ton more we couldn't fit here. For a complete listing visit concordnh.gov/recreation.
-May 10: Kick-off the week at Horseshoe Pond Place Senior Resource Center, 26 Commercial St., with a welcome message at 10:30 a.m. Stay for a keynote presentation by inspirational speaker Dick Smith at 10:45 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m. Registration is required. Call 228-9656 by May 5 to reserve your spot.
-May 11: Try exercise classes like Zumba, pilates and more at the Concord-Family YMCA, 15 N. State St., from 8:30 a.m.-noon.
From 1-5:30 p.m., stop by the Centennial Senior Center, 41 West St. The day a container gardening workshop with Cole Gardens, “Starting a Walking Program” with the Center for Health Promotion and more.
-May 12: Get to know the Concord Public Library, 45 Green St., during an open house. A formal tour begins at 10 a.m. and a book discussion workshop will be held at 12:10 p.m.
Kara Comparetto, pianist, will be playing at Granite Ledges of Concord, 151 Langley Parkway, at 1:30 p.m.
-May 13: Two escorted nature walks will be held at the Audubon Center and Wildlife Sanctuary, 3 Silk Farm Road, hosted by the Concord Hospital Senior Wellness Team. There will be an easy walk (15-30 min.) and a varied terrain walk (60-75 min.). To participate, reserve your spot by May 11 by calling 227-7000, ext. 3660 ,or e-mailing volunteerservices@crhc.org.
Afterward, go Wii bowling at the Penacook Community Center, 76 Community Drive, Penacook, at 1 p.m.

-May 14: The Concord Recreation Senior Program, 41 West St., will have a bone builders class at 9 a.m., a guest speaker at 10 a.m., Wii games beginning at 10:30 a.m. and more.
A talent show will be held at Pleasant View Retirement Center, 227 Pleasant St., at 3 p.m.
