Art is in bloom at the law center

The Concord Garden Club has moved this year's “Art and Bloom” to the Franklin Pierce Law Center, 2 White St. The eighth annual floral show will run Jan. 28 to Jan. 30.

Taking advantage of the spacious hallways and gallery of the school's recently renovated space, the floral arrangements by some of Concord's commercial florists and the members of the garden club will highlight the artwork from the New Hampshire Printmakers annual show.

On Jan. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m., an opening reception will be held with live music, refreshments and a chance to see how 17 floral designers interpret artwork by some of New England's finest juried printmakers. The designers and printmakers will be there to exchange impressions and mingle with the public.

The show continues on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 3 p.m. All events are free.
