Learn about mindfulness-based stress reduction at a free seminar

Do you find yourself stressed by work, family issues, illness, chronic pain or anxiety?

Mindfulness-based stress reduction is a transformational seminar for learning to deal directly with life experiences in an open, honest and affirming way. Originally developed at the U-Mass Medical School's Center for Mindfulness by Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR training provides a proven means for awakening to the full experience of your life, for helping people to reduce stress and to better cope with the pressures and demands of everyday living.

MBSR training is now available at the Center for Health Promotion at Concord Hospital. This is a free orientation for people to learn more, but there is a charge for the seminar. Orientation sessions for the winter class will be held on Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. and Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. To register for the free orientation session or for more information, contact the Center for Health Promotion at 230-7300 or visit concordhospital.org.
