Dear Tweens, What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is snakes. They slither around in the grass. They watch you so they can attack you. They could kill you or make you sick. I don’t like them also because they are super fast. That is why they are my biggest fear.

Do you remember when you were a little kid and you felt no fear? Well, all that changes when you grow up. My biggest fear just happens to be bridges. When I was younger, I thought crossing a bridge meant having a new adventure, but now all I can do is hold my breath and wait until it’s over. I picture falling off the bridge and tumbling to our doom! What if the bridge collapses? What if the rails break? I may get over my fear some day, but for now, I’ll just have to pray I don’t die!

My biggest fear is communism. It is my biggest fear because freedom means everything to me, and if that is taken away then there is no point of living.
Our forefathers were big conservatives and believed that the government should get the least amount of power and the people get the majority of the power. I have heard of other countries that have fallen to communism and some of the worst dictators like Fidel Castro, Kim-Jong-Il, or many other dictators of the world. No one deserves to be completely under the hand of a dictator. That is why communism is my biggest fear. It is a bad moment in the world.

I think that my biggest fear is of spiders. They just give me the shivers. I think I used to like them until, one day I was exploring the woods with my friend and we pulled a huge piece of bark off a dead tree and millions of little spiders started crawling all over us. I was so freaked out I never wanted to see another spider again after that. That is why my biggest fear is of spiders.

My biggest fear was getting used to middle school. I thought that the eighth-graders were going to bully me. Once I was there for about two weeks, everything was fine. I made a couple of friends, and I didn’t get bullied!! I thought that sixth grade was going to be my last year, but NO! Getting used to middle school isn’t as hard as I thought it would be.
