Good thing Debbie LaValley always has a camera handy. “I was walking during my morning break at work and had my 300mm lens on my camera. I caught the flash of a large raptor out of the corner of my eye and then screamed to myself . . . OSPREY!,” Debbie wrote. “I thought it would fly over the trees and off, but it stayed at Horseshoe Pond to do a little circling and fishing. I was so excited when I noticed it was going in for its kill. I managed to capture it coming out of the water! It had its brunch in its talons.”
