Once in a while, an editorial gem – or photo, in this case – falls into our lap. So it was was these images taken by Monitor photo editor Alex Cohn. They were intended for the daily paper, but it was a busy news week, so they didn't make it in. We did what any sane Insider staffer would do and snatched them for our own space-filling purposes.
These were taken at the Sewalls Fall Recreation Area on a hot day last week. The dripping photo model is Brian Thurber of Haverhill, Mass., who got a bucket of water dumped on his head by his brother, Chris, and cousin, Tiffany Hodkinson (of Penacook).
In the next photo, Chris and Brian hurl their cousin, Samantha Hodkinson (also from Penacook) into the water.
