While visiting VBS one day last week, we chatted with some of the kids and helpers and asked a few questions about what they liked about VBS and how their summers were going.

What’s something fun you’ve done this summer? I’m going to camp in four days . . . and I went fishing.
What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately? “Transformers 2.”
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Chocolate and vanilla.

What’s your favorite thing about VBS? Games and the science.
What’s something fun you’ve done this summer? I’m going camping.
What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately? “G-Force.”
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Cookies and cream and chocolate chip cookie dough.

What’s your favorite thing about VBS? That we get to play outside.
What’s something fun you’ve done this summer? Go swimming.
What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately? “Tinker Bell.”
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Mint and chocolate, and a cherry.
Jonah Paige, 8, Concord
What’s your favorite thing about VBS? Games.
What’s something fun you’ve done this summer? I don’t remember. We went to this new beach. (Ed. – We asked if Jonah did any swimming. He said yes, “but there were lots of rocks.” Ouch.)
What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately? “Space Chimps.”
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? I’d have to go with Hunka Chunka PB Fudge.
Caleb Paige, 6 ½, Concord
What’s your favorite thing about VBS? To play with my friends.
What’s something fun you’ve done this summer? Play video games.
What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately? “Star Wars.”
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Monster’s Crunch. It’s blue. (Ed. – Caleb’s brother Jonah says the flavor is called Dinosaur Crunch, but Monster’s Crunch sounds scarier in our opinion, so we’ll take either answer.)
