The Pierce Manse will be open to the public for the 35th season starting June 16 at 11 a.m. Located at 14 Horseshoe Pond Lane in the historic section of downtown Concord, the Pierce Manse will be open for guided tours to learn more about the life and times of President Pierce and his family. Guests can also view two recently installed museum galleries, each documenting important components of New Hampshire's rich political history – President Pierce and the first-in-the-nation presidential primary.
Admission to the manse is $7, $6 for seniors, $3 for children and students and $15 for families. The Pierce Manse is open Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 16 through Sept. 5. For the first time, the manse will also be open for an extended season, Friday and Saturdays, noon. to 3 p.m., Sept. 11 through Oct. 17. Guided tours are available courtesy of the Pierce Brigade. Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to call ahead for a reservation to 225-4555.
