District 44N Governor Forest Powers of Andover announced at the annual convention of New Hampshire Lions District 44N, held at the Town and Country Resort in Shelburne, Vt., that the Concord Lions Club received the award for being the best small Lions Club (fewer than 25 members) in the district. Also receiving awards from Concord were club secretary Dr. Charles Putnam and club president Tom Geno. Tom was also awarded the District 44N Lion of the Year award for his work with the Concord Lions and with the district.
