For the month of June, members of the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, Vt., will be able to visit each other's facility for free. It is part of the new partner exchange program set up by the discovery center which allows its members to experience some of the best cultural institutions New England has to offer.
Each month the Discovery Center partners with a museum or attraction to offer an exchange for their members to visit each other's facility for free. Not only will Discovery Center members enjoy the new McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, they will also gain admission to 12 other museums and attractions during the year.
Several partners have been confirmed for the program for the coming months, including the Canterbury Shaker Village, the American Independence Museum, Squam Lakes Science Center and Strawberry Banke. Information on other partners and details on the exchange can be found at starhop.com/membership.
