Friends of Forgotten Children could use your help, readers. Donations to the group have been down recently, so the Concord Fire Department and Police Department have teamed up to collect donations of nonperishable food, personal hygeine products and new socks.
The drive runs through the end of the month, and donations can be dropped off at any of the fire stations or the police station. Here are the addresses, so you can find the drop-off location closest to you:
– Central Fire Station, 150 N. State St.
– Broadway Fire Station, 15 Broadway
– Heights Fire Station, 127 Loudon Road
– Manor Fire Station, 46 Village St.
– Concord Police Station, 35 Green St.
