One recent soggy morning on Main Street, the CUKE homeschool co-op was all sunshine and smiles as we enjoyed a fantastic tour of Red River Theatres.
Executive Director Connie Rosemont struck a perfect tour balance, reaching that sweet spot where parents and children alike were captivated and engaged. Facilities Manager Barry Steelman added to the wonder, from providing freshly popped corn for the wee ones (and a few moms) to demonstrating how the film moves from can to platter to screen.
Many thanks to Connie and Barry for sharing the gorgeous Red River Theatres with us. Though highlights for the kids included the secret passageway, weightlifting featuring the film can, the laugh-out-loud magician/rabbit flick, cushy seating and cracking the door code, their parents walked away inspired by Red River Theatres' solid commitment to the Concord community. We are extremely lucky to have this gem tucked away on Main Street, and I cannot wait to schedule a moms' night out at Red River Theatres.
