Verdigris Artisans announces the next in its series of third Thursdays open studio receptions the evening of April 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. Verdigris Artisans is a new art and artisan studio located at 88 N. Main St., Ste. 205. The public is welcome to enjoy the works of resident artists, visiting artists, refreshments and a night out in downtown. Admission is free.
This open studio reception will feature new works of resident artists Jacqueline Lawton, lampworker (Sandpiper Beads), the jewelry of Nila Venne, metalsmith (Nilaven Jewelry), the handbags of Katy Brown, aka muchacha K handmade, and Art by Verde, painter Vicki Sue Green. The work of special guest Charles Cole, photographer, will also be featured.
This is just one event for art lovers on April 16. The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce is offering Art Concord on that evening from 5 to 8 pm. Art Concord is a tour of Concord's many fine art galleries. Featured venues include Cole Gardens, Millbrook Gallery, League of NH Craftsmen Gallery 205 and more.
