Kathleen Greenley and Tami Webster have each been awarded a $600 scholarship from the Zonta Club of Concord to be applied to tuition at NHTI in the spring semester.
Kathleen is a general studies major with a 4.0 grade point average. She hopes to enter the nursing program. Kathleen works full-time at Quest Diagnostics while attending NHTI in the evenings. She is married and has two sons, ages 13 and 10.
Tami Webster is majoring in general studies and hopes to enter the radiologic technology program. She is the vice president for NHTI’s student senate as well as an orientation leader for incoming students and campus visitors.
The Zonta Club’s scholarship to NHTI is given in memory of Eleanor Provencher, a longtime member of the club whose career and personal ideals valued higher education. In order to apply, female students must have been out of high school for at least five years and have earned 12 college credits with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
