Verdigris Artisans announces its grand opening studio reception the evening of March 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. Verdigris Artisans is a brand-new art and artisan studio located in the heart of downtown Concord, at 88 N. Main St., Suite 205. This open studio event is the first in a series of third-Thursday events that will run through the end of the year. The public is welcome to enjoy the works of resident artists, visiting artists and refreshments. Admission is free.
This first reception features the work of resident artists Jacqueline Lawton, lampworker, the jewelry of Nila Venne, the handbags of Katy Brown and newest studio member, painter Vicki Sue Green, as well as other visiting artists still to be announced. Those interested may preview the artists' work at the studio website, verdigrisartisans.com.
