Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln will visit Boscawen and discuss their lives before and after Lincoln's election to the presidency. Living history scholars Steve and Sharon Wood will portray the Lincolns in “Abraham and Mary Lincoln: The Long and Short of It” on Monday, March 2 at 6 p.m. at the Boscawen Municipal Complex, 116 N. Main St.
The Lincolns will tell stories of their early lives and the challenges they faced during one of the most turbulent periods in our nation's history. This event is hosted by the Boscawen Public Library. It is free and open to the public through a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council.
