Ask the Tweens: New Year's resolutions

Dear Tweens, What are your resolutions for 2009?
Your friends,
The Insiders

Abby Painchaud
Happy New Year!
My New Year resolution is to keep my room clean. My room is not that messy in the beginning of the week, but at the end of the week my Dad calls it a pigsty. I clean it every Friday, but I am going to try keeping it clean every day (or every other).
Some changes I hope to see is the global warming problem getting fixed.
Sincerely,
Abby Painchaud

My New Year’s resolution is to be nicer to my brother and sister. I also hope to see a change in how clean my room is. I hope I can make these resolutions happen. I’m usually not able to keep my resolutions, but this year I will try very hard to make them happen.
Happy New Year!

My New Year’s resolution is to help the environment more. I will do this by recycling, turning off lights, TV, etc., not wasting paper and water and riding by bike instead of driving when I can. This is important to me because global warming is very important and affects everyone, so if everyone helps out, it can get better. I am going to start helping out.
Happy 2009!

Every year I make a New Year’s resolution and don’t keep it. This year’s resolution is to earn a little money through working. I really want to keep my New Year’s resolution this year. Good luck with yours!

My New Year resolution is to do better in all of my classes in school so I will get good grades. I also wish that I would see all of my friends and other people I don’t know to get good grades, too.
There are people having a hard time with things and money problems. I hope things will be better for them and they will have enough money.
I wish this New Year that people won’t be mean to other kids in school. I see it happen a lot and it is sad. People should be happy.

Happy New Year Concord Insider!
Hey! It’s me, Seimou, aka Shampoo. I have a lot of New Year resolutions for 2009, but my major hope is that I want the economy to get back on its feet. All my favorite stores are shutting down.
Before I finish, I would like to say that I would love everyone to be able to say, “I had a great ’08.” And if you can’t, I hope things change and that you have a great ’09.
Sincerely,
Shampoo

I always make a resolution when it comes to a New Year. This year, as always, I made one. I want to get stuff done on time. I always tend to get lazy and not do work. Starting in 2009, I’ll stop being lazy and get some work done!
